Una storia come ce ne sono tante qua.

An Israeli F-16 aircraft targeted the house of IslamOnline.net's reporter, Ola Attalla. The 2-storey house was brought down to the ground, killing eight of her family members. Among the dear were her uncle's wife, Suad Attalla (60 years old), both of her children, Khaled Atalla (30 years old) and Ibrahim Attalla (29 years old) and a little baby in the household.
Ola Attalla has always wrote stories about the conditions in Gaza. She has brought stories of child casualties and torn families to life with her pen. But this time it was her turn, the story written was about her and her family.
Ola was always worried that her office might be targeted for an attack, but she never expected her home to be the next target.In a phone call with Ola, the screams of women rung out so loud that the callers could hardly hear her. On another call, she said "the image is terrifying! They've shelled my uncle's house – it is all ruins now." She said she keeps trying to call her brothers to check on them but to no avail.

Il discorso è durato meno di 20 minuti.

Padri fondatori, crisi economica; non solo libertà ed uguaglianza per tutti ma anche il diritto a raggiungere i propri obiettivi, a raggiungere la felicità.

Come preannunciato da numerosi gruppi in world e dal post sul mio blog ieri sera, l'intervista a P.L. (Philip Rosedale) è stata trasmessa su varie land tra cui Orange Island in streaming video ed audio (che ha compensato la mancanza di video quando per un certo periodo non è stato possibile trasmettere le riprese in world mentre le parole di P.L. venivano trascritte in chat da G.H.) a cura di Metanomics che la "cross-medialità" la usa e da non poco tempo.

Finalmente ho iniziato a vedere anche qualche altro italiano; nelle interviste internazionali fino ad ora, a parte Opensource, non avevo mai incontrato nessuno!

Se potrò inserirò annunci di quel tipo tutte le volte che mi sarà possibile sul mio blog per fare da cassa di risonanza alle notizie apprese dai gruppi in world che, come noto, non possono superare i 25. Orange Island ha superato il problema permettendo a chi arriva sull'isola di essere informato, tramite chat di gruppo , sugli eventi ,anche senza essere iscritti al gruppo. Quindi chi si recherà là troverà dove potersi iscrivere e tenersi informato.

Contemporaneamente, sulla pagina web di Metanomics come su SLCNTV Virtual Television for Virtual Worlds, veniva trasmesso lo streaming per tutti quelli che non erano potuti entrare, sia per i limiti delle land ospitanti ,sia per i numerosi problemi di accesso e login che ultimamente affliggono SL.

Philip ha risposto soprattutto a domande sull'evoluzione di SL e sulla economia di Sl che pare non abbia subito ripercussioni a causa della crisi americana e mondiale ed individuando in Obama qualcuno da cui ci si attende molto.

Le domande, già preannunciate e pubblicate da Robert Bloomfield, estremamente attivo in questo genere di approfondimenti, hanno attirato un vasto pubblico, come del resto il nome dell'intervistato.

Philip Rosedale founded San Francisco-based Linden Lab in 1999, and has led the creation of the virtual world of Second Life from initial concept to a market-leading virtual world, with a robust economy and a global population. As a pioneer in the virtual world industry, Rosedale is actively involved in the strategy, development and design of Linden Lab’s products, including the world of Second Life and the Second Life Grid platform. Rosedale is known for his entrepreneurial approach to new technologies, starting a network software company when he was 17. In 1995 he created an innovative internet video conferencing product, which was later acquired by RealNetworks, where he went on to become Vice President and CTO. In 1999, the advent of consumer broadband and better PC 3D graphics inspired Rosedale to leave RealNetworks and found Linden Lab, pursuing his lifelong dream of creating an internet scale virtual world.
